Vessel Knife - for coronary artery surgery: technical details 

Instructions on handling*

 

1. Fix the blade to the handle without touching the tip of the blade.

2. Snap the protecting cover before usage

3. After using, remove the blade with an artery forceps or needle holder.

*To be used once; (dont use if the packing is damaged or opened) Donft re-sterilize ; after using dispose as a bio-medical waste. * To be used by a qualified and competent surgeon; Data and details given above are as per the internationally recognized standard conditions when tested and variations in set-ups, patient profile and other factors are likely to alter results.

4. As shown above (Point 1) with your thumb press the blade knob from the handle.

5. After removing, dispose it as per the local regulations for medical sharps disposal.

*Handling the knife carefully needs some training guided by one who is proficient in the above explained procedures. The blade being very sharp, may cause injury if handled carelessly and the suppliers and their associates will not be held responsible for such injuries.
